About Me
Dr. C.J. Good
I am not just an author; I’m a dedicated parent on a mission to foster a love for reading in children and parents everywhere. My journey into the world of children’s literature began over a decade ago when I welcomed our first child into the world. Despite my own childhood aversion to reading, I recognized the importance of instilling a passion for books in our children from an early age. I understood that by actively participating in our children’s reading experiences, we could cultivate a lifelong love for literature, but more importantly create lasting memories.
Navigating the challenges of parenthood, including the hectic schedules and demands of raising a young family, we prioritized bedtime story time as a cherished ritual. Amidst the chaos of daily life, this dedicated time allowed us to connect with our children on a deeper level, providing undivided attention and creating lasting memories through reading. However, we quickly grew weary of reading the same books over and over, to the point where our story times became dreadful to us parents. We also realized a great need for books that were fun, educational and entertaining for both parents and the children. Books that would motivate all of us to snuggle on the couch, and flip through the pages. That’s when we decided to start our journey as an author.
We hope that by reading our books with your children you’ll laugh, learn and connect as much as we have. Thanks for your support.
